  • The purchase cost for each item is as follows: Mt Bikes $89, Scooters $45, Racers $147, and labour costs for a standard 1 hour service is $18.50.
  • Your store retails (sells) the items for the following: MT Bikes $345. Scooters $285, Racers $467 and a standard service costs $35.
  • Your sales figures for the first 6 months are as follows:
    • January: 6 MT Bikes, 21 racers, 50 Scooters and 134 services.
    • February: 10 MT Bikes, 12 racers, 40 Scooters and 113 services.
    • March: 15 MT Bikes, 10 racers, 37 Scooters and 16 services.
    • April: 7 MT Bikes, 29 racers, 37 Scooters and 89 services.
    • May: 3 MT Bikes, 5 racers, 18 Scooters and 36 services.
    • June: 8 MT Bikes, 16 racers, 3 Scooters and 46 services.
  • As a business owner you need to track your business progress. To do this you will use a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet and should clearly provide information that:
    • Summarizes the raw sales figures as outlined above
    • Auto sums totals of sales for each item and service
    • Clearly formatted category headings
    • Formatted columns in currency
    • Sub sections showing the relationship (formulas) between the total sales for each sale / service line and the calculation of:
      • Gross Income (total collected)
      • Gross Expenses (total costs)
      • Net Profit (the money you keep after expenses have been paid)
    • Placement of 1 graphic relevant to the business
    • One row or column with text formatted to bold / italic / size 14 / red
    • Generate a graph that clearly demonstrates the sales trend for the 6 month period
